DENVER (KDVR) -- Colorado received $9.3 million in the 2023 fiscal year for wildfire resilience work and fuel management projects, the U.S. Department of the Interior announced Thursday.The funds are part of a $468 million allocation for wildfire risk reduction, impact mitigation and burn area rehabilitation across the country. The MIAA Football Committee took the first step in hopes of convincing the state it had a better playoff proposal.Football Committee chairman Jay Costa and Milton football coach Steve Dembowski joined in on the two-hour MIAA Tournament Management Committee meeting Thursday morning and laid out plans for a revamped football structure. A U.S. Marine from Orange County has admitted to his role in a 2022 attack at a Planned Parenthood in which he and another man threw a Molotov cocktail at a clinic under the cover of night.
